Welcome to the Department of Logistics!!!

"Empowering Future Leaders in Logistics with an Earn While You Learn Approach" The Department of Logistics was established in 2019 with the vision to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and industry practices through innovative, apprenticeship-based programs. Our department is dedicated to nurturing industry-ready professionals equipped with practical skills, leadership qualities, and a comprehensive understanding of global logistics operations.

Our Journey of Growth and Excellence

2019

We launched our flagship program, the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Logistics Management, in association with the Logistics Sector Skill Council (LSC). This pioneering program set the foundation for our department, emphasizing hands-on learning through apprenticeships with leading logistics companies.

2020

Building on our initial success, we introduced the Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) in E-commerce Operations in collaboration with LSC. This program addresses the dynamic needs of the rapidly growing e-commerce sector, equipping students with the skills to excel in digital supply chains and operations management.

2021

Our department expanded its horizons with the addition of two new apprenticeship-based programs:

  • BBA in Retail Operations - In partnership with the Retailer’s Association Skill Council of India (RASCI), focusing on modern retail management practices, customer relationship management, and supply chain strategies.
  • BMS in Agri Storage and Supply Chain Management - In collaboration with LSC, designed to develop expertise in agricultural logistics, cold chain management, and sustainable supply chain practices.

2023

Recognizing the growing importance of maritime trade and logistics, we launched the BMS in Maritime Logistics in association with LSC, preparing students for careers in port operations, shipping logistics, and global trade management.

A Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Logistics focuses on the management of supply chains and the flow of goods, services, and information between points of origin and consumption.Students learn about logistics planning, inventory management, transportation, and warehouse operations.

A Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) in Maritime Logistics focuses on logistics operations in the maritime and shipping industries. It encompasses areas such as port operations, shipping logistics, and international trade.
